Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope your day is full of turkey, family, and
awesomeness.
I know I have many things to be thankful,
like having a full stomach every night, a roof over my head, and clean water to
drink. I really am so grateful for all
of that, but I think most of all I am grateful for the people in my life. Just this week I caught up with so many
people that I hadn’t seen in so long, and it made me realize how lucky I am to
have had all these incredible people in my life. Through the ups and downs, I
have always had someone there to celebrate or cry with. I am indebted to everyone who has changed my
life and the only way I know how to pay them back is to say thank you.
Mom, you’ve taught me how to be a go-getter. You are the reason I am as strong as I am.
Dad, because of you I know how to understand myself. I see the world differently now.
Cassandra, you were and always will be my very best
friend. You are my unconditional
relationship.
To my brilliant family, as a whole, you are the best support
system a person could ever wish for.
To my Synchro family, I know I let you down in the past, but
I am so thankful for the way you molded me into the woman I am. Thank you for some of the greatest memories
of my life.
To my Thespian and Musical loves, you helped me through a
very dark period of my life (whether you knew it or not) and I’m eternally
grateful for giving me reason to smile and laugh.
Finally, to anyone who has ever found conflict with me, I
thank you for showing me who I am in the face of adversity.
Although I have lost touch with many of my friends I once
loved like family, you all still hold a special place in my heart. I love all of you and I wish you so much
happiness. I know I didn’t cover
everyone in my life, and I haven’t forgotten about those people, so thank you
to anyone else who finds they do not fit into one of these categories. Stay
beautiful.
